Engine Responds To 2 Alarm Fire At Colonial Forge High

At 14:58 hours Stafford E.C.C. took a call for bells at Colonial Forge High School at 550 Courthouse Road. The box was filled when reports came in that fire was showing from the roof. Engine and Truck 2 arrived first to find the same in a two story school. The volunteers from Stafford quickly went to work deploying lines and opening up. The Operations Deputy (Jett) hearing the return from Company 2 units called for the 2nd Alarm to be sounded. The ODC arrived to take the command and began putting units to work. Engine 1 arrived to take 4th due responsibilities with the officer taking Division 2. The fire was extinguished by 1st Alarm units within 30 minutes after completing extensive overhaul. Engine 1 operated for an hour and 30 minutes before returning to service.
