Rescue 1 Runs One Pinned In Rockhill

Shortly after 13:00 hours Rescue 1 was alerted for an auto accident reported overturned with possible entrapment in the area of 101 Rockhill Church Road. Rescue Engine 14 was first to arrive to find one propane truck overturned with one subject pinned. While Rescue Engine 14 stabilized the vehicle and began extrication Engine 9 deployed a protection handline. Rescue 1 arrived next and removed the roof from the vehicle noticing the patients legs were pinned by the dash. Rescue 1 then utilized hydraulic rams and a spreader to push off of the pinned patients legs to complete the extrication. The extrication was complete within 33 minutes after arrival of Rescue 1.
