By Falmouth Volunteers
April 11, 2012

During the early morning hours the Engine Company was alerted for a local alarm for a possible illegal control burn at 733 Old Forge Drive. Minutes later the Stafford E.C.C received a second report advising that a shed was on fire next to the residence and upgraded the assignment to a fire endangering a structure. Engine 1 arrived, secured a water supply then reported a two story end of the row townhome with smoke showing side Delta and advanced a hand line. Engine 1 quickly located a small fire inside a 10X10 shed with minor extension on the exterior of the residence. Fire was quickly extinguished and the assignment was scaled back to Engine 1, Quint 12 and Battalion 1. Units operated on scene for approximately 20 minutes before returning to service.

Units: E-1, Q-12, BC-1
