March 9, 2010
At 02:23 hours the box alarm was transmitted for a residential fire at 2648 Warrenton Road bringing Engine, Rescue, and Chief 1 with 9 volunteers. While company one units were responding the Stafford E.C.C advised that the house was filling smoke from an electrical box fire. Minutes later Medic 6 arrived on scene to find a 1 1/2 story wood frame dwelling with smoke showing on the Bravo side. Fauquier Engine/Tanker 1108 then arrived on scene with fire showing on side Bravo and advanced a hand line through the front door. BC-1 (Lace) established the "Warrenton Road Command". Engine 12 arrived next to advance a back up line through side Alpha while Rescue 1 began a primary search. The fire was knocked down within 5 minutes. Engine 1 advanced a third hand line and assumed the R.I.T responsibilities. Engine 2 arrived as the fourth due engine and assisted Rescue 1's crew conducting a secondary search. The primary and secondary searches proved negative and the incident was quickly scaled back. Rescue 1 and Engine 12 completed the overhaul. Company 1 units cleared the scene in approximately 1 hour.
