Passing of Yvonne Reedal

It is saddening to announce the passing of Yvonne Reedal. Yvonne is resting today after she suffered a cancer relapse in 2007 and was unable to return to work. Yvonne actively volunteered in Caroline County for 23 years. She was an Emergency 911 Communications Officer, working for Caroline for eight years. She is also the daughter of Technician Ronald "Nubby" Newton, Sr. and sister of Technician Dana Newton both active members of the Falmouth Volunteer Fire Department.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, at Bowling Green Baptist Church with the Rev. Willis Dempsey officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 10, at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green.
