At 4:14 p.m. units were dispatched for an ALS Emergency. Personnel noted that the patient was reported to be in a tree, so the Rescue and Chief added to the call with Medic 11. Medic 11 and Chief-1 arrived to find a male stuck approximately 10 feet off the ground in a tree after a fall with injuries. Chief 1 established command, the Rescue used ground ladders to make contact with the patient and immobilization in place. The LSP was utilized to immobilize the patient while personnel from Rescue 1 and Quint 12 rigged a lowering system to remove the patient from the tree. Once removed, the patient was transported to a local medical facility.

All units worked extremely well and effectively to safely rescue the patient and return to service within thirty minutes.
