| Mother nature packed heavy snow and brought winds to the Falmouth area; knocking out power to thousands in the Fredericksburg area and turned area roads to difficult to travel.
Falmouth station was prepared for the wintry mix and maintained Engine, Rescue, Medic, MSU w/plow, and the Brush inservice for the two days. Falmouth units answered 42 calls during the storm, provided Falmouth District reports to the Stafford Emergency Operations Center, and ensured all nursing / assisted living facilities were fully functioning.
Fortunately, there were no significant incidents to report. |
