First Due Townhouse Fire

At 12:22, Stafford E.C.C. dispatched the townhouse fire assignment at 238 Overlook Ct. in the Spring Valley Subdivision. While Engine and Chief 1 were enroute Fire Marshal 3 arrived on scene to find a two-story middle of the row townhouse with smoke showing from side alpha. Engine 1 arrived moments later stretching a 1 3/4" line through side Alpha to the second floor. Chief 1 established the "Overlook Ct. Command". Engine 12 arrived and supplied the hydrant for Engine 1 and manned the back-up line. Engine 1's officer was assigned the "Division 2 Supervisor" with Truck 2 and Fredericksburg Ladder 1. Engine 1's crew located and extinguished a fire in the back bedroom. The truck companies assisted with ventilating and checking for extension. All searches were negative and there were no injuries reported. All units returned to service in about an hour and half.
