Rescue Runs Aquia Fire

At 20:19 Stafford County Fire and Rescue Department units responded to a reported structure fire located at 1033 Harbor Drive in the Aquia Harbor Subdivision. Engine 9 arrived on scene within two minutes and reported a two story, single-family residential structure with fire on the first floor in the rear of the structure. Chief 2 (Dunstan) held the "Harbor Command". Firefighters mounted an aggressive interior attack and the fire was brought under control within 10 minutes. The home was occupied by two adults who returned home from shopping and discovered the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available at this time.
