Shortly after 20:30 hours the Falmouth Volunteers were alerted for a residential fire at 528 Eskimo Hill Road bringing the Engine, Rescue, and Chief 1 with a total of nine volunteers. Medic 5 arrived on scene first to find a detached shed fully evolved approximately 10' from the residence. Engine 2 went on scene, picked up a water supply, and advanced a 1 3/4" attack line. Engine 1 (Shackleford) arrived seconds later to secure the water supply for 2 Engine and began extinguishing the shed with the back-up line. Engine and Truck 2 checked the interior of the structure for extension. Chief 1 (Smith) held the "Eskimo Hill Road Command" and Chief 2 (Mackay) was the "Attack Group Supervisor". Rescue 1 (Pierson) completed the searches which proved negative. Command then held the units from 2 and 1 for overhaul. The Falmouth and Stafford Volunteers operated on scene for approximately 2 hours before returning to service.
