| During the early morning hours the box alarm was transmitted for a residential fire at 135 Theresa Drive. While responding the Stafford E.C.C was receiving multiple reports of fire through the roof extending to multiple homes. Engine 14 arrived to find a two story single family dwelling with fire through out the second floor. Engine 14 advanced a handline as Engine 2 was advancing a back up line and securing the water supply. The Operations Deputy arrived and assumed the command from Engine 2. Engine 9 established R.I.T on side Alpha. Minutes later Rescue 1 arrived and completed the primary searches which proved negative and then began assisting crews opening up to extinguish the remaining fire. The fire was knocked down within 25 minutes after crews arrived. Rescue 1 operated on scene for approximately two and a half hours before returning to service. |
