Just before the Super Bowl, Fredericksburg transmitted a box alarm for the Apartment Fire on Wicklow Drive in Bragg Hill. Fredericksburg Engine 2, who is normally first due, was out of position so the engine requested to run the box. Falmouth arrived second due in the rear with smoke showing from the second floor apartment with people on balconies. Engine 1 deployed the 16 and 24 ft ladder to assist with rescues. After that assignment was completed Engine 1 was assigned the floor above stretching through the fire apartment via ladder. Falmouth conducted primary and secondary searches on the floor above and checked for extension all with negative results.
