Shortly after midnight Rescue Company 1 was alerted for an auto accident reported with entrapment in the area of the 141.1 I-95 Northbound. Engine 2 was first to arrive to find multiple vehicles involved, one over the embankment into the trees with one pinned under the dash. Engine 2 utilized a grip hoist to prevent the vehicle from going further down the embankment. BC1 arrived and established the " Interstate 95 command". Engine 9 arrived next and assisted Engine 2 with patient care. Rescue 1 then arrived and completed stabilization on the vehicle. Once that task was complete Rescue 1 removed the passenger side door and made a relief cut on the A post. Rescue 1 then utilized spreaders to push the dash off of the patient that was pinned between the dash , seat and floor board of the vehicle. Once the dash was pushed away, the patient was then packaged and transported to the hospital.
