Saturday night; just as the crews finished up dinner, Engine 1 was dispatched to a medical local in the western part of the first due. 2 minutes later Rescue 1 was alerted for the house fire in the White Oak section of the county. With the box coming out, the Engine cleared the medical local taking second due engine responsibility.

Rescue 1 and Medic 7 arrived to find a 1.5 story wood SFD with nothing showing from all sides, initial report from the homeowner was that the fire was out. When the crews began investigating, it was found to have a room off in the half story knee walls above the garage. The area was made into a bedroom. With no engine in site, The "Can Man" got a good knock on the fire while the officer did a primary of the residence with negative results.

The box was scaled back to 1 and 1 within 20 mins.
