Rescue, MSU, and Chief 1 Run Water Rescue

At 20:47 hours units were alerted to a Water Rescue in the area of the Falmouth Bridge. Additional information provided, stated that a subject was somewhere in the area of the Falmouth Bridge in distress. Rescue 1 and Marine Support Unit 1 positioned themselves at the Falmouth Waterfront Park for easy access to the river. With no additional information, Two Rescue Swimmers from Falmouth deployed from the Falmouth Waterfront Park in an attempt to locate the victim. After approximately 30 minutes of searching, the victim was located on Lauck's Island just up river from the Falmouth Bridge. After relocating the victim down river of the Falmouth Bridge, the victim was brought across to the Falmouth Waterfront Park by the Two Rescue Swimmers from Falmouth. Units operated for approximately for one hour before returning to service.
