The Engine and Rescue Company quickly arrived to find a single vehicle on its roof with one trapped. Engine 1 deployed a protection hand line and began patient care while Rescue 1 then placed two paratech struts to the rear of the vehicle and step chocks on the front end to complete the stabilization efforts. Rescue 1 then removed the driver side door to gain access to the patient. The patient was then turned over EMS personnel and transported to Mary Washington hospital with minor injuries.
