Shortly after 19:00 hours the Falmouth Volunteers were alerted for a residential fire at 212 Musselman Road. Engine Company 1 responded on the run with a total of six volunteers. BC1 arrived first to find a single story wood frame with fire showing on side "Alpha" and established the " Musselman road command". Engine 1 then arrived and secured their own water supply and deployed the 400' pre-connect to side alpha. Engine 1 then forced entry and made an aggressive interior attack. Quint 12 Completed the searches which proved negative and assisted Engine 1 with opening up the ceiling. Once the bulk of the fire was knocked down Medic 6 deployed a back up line and assisted with extinguishing remaining hot spots. Engine 4 and Truck 2 then arrived and assisted with salvage and overhaul operations. Units operated on scene for approximately 4 hours before returning to service.
