Shortly after Engine Company 1 returned from a medical local the box alarm was transmitted for an apartment fire on Green Tree Road in Company 12's due. Engine 12 and BC1 arrived first to find a two story apartment complex with smoke showing. Engine 12 secured their own water and deployed a hand line to the front door. BC1 established the "Green Tree Road" command. Engine 1 arrived and laid a supply line from a secondary water source then deployed a back up line. Engine 12 quickly located a small fire in the kitchen and extinguished. Engine 1's crew then relocated the to the exposure apartment to check for extension. Engine 6 arrived and picked up Engine 1's line and assisted crews checking for extension. The Falmouth Volunteers operated on scene for approximately 30 minutes before returning to service.
