Engine And Rescue Company With Fire Showing From A First Due House

Shortly after 0500 hours the Falmouth Volunteers were alerted for a unknown type fire in the area of Harrell Road and Heather Hills Subdivision. While responding units were updated by the Stafford E.C.C. that they had a caller online confirming fire in a house at 919 Ficklen Road and filled the box. Engine one laid a supply at the end of the driveway for the next arriving engine to pick up. Engine 1 found a single story wood-frame dwelling with fire through out and advance 250' of 2 inch to the front door. Engine and Rescue 1 made entry on side alpha and quickly knocked down the bulk of the fire while Rescue 1 was completing searches which proved negative then assisted engine 1 open up the ceiling to extinguish fire in the attic. Quint 12 arrived and deployed a second hose line to side Delta of the structure. Once company one units had the fire knocked down Truck 2, Tower 4 and quint 12 assisted with overhaul operations and extinguishing remaining hot spots. The Falmouth Volunteers operated on scene for approximately four hours before returning to service.
