| In the pre-dawn hours Stafford E.C.C. dispatched Rescue 1 to assist Mt. View and Stafford V.F.D. on an accident with one trapped. Units were advised of several different locations but Wagon 4 arrived at Kellogg Mill and Poplar Road with one S.U.V. on it's side. Wagon 4 confirmed one subject was trapped. Wagon 2 arrived next and took the "Poplar Road Command". A medivac was requested due to the patients injuries. Once the Rescue arrived the crew proceeded to assist Wagon 2 with stabilization. Crews deployed the PARATECH Rescue Struts off Rescue 1 to finish the job. The Rescue crew then placed the AMKUS Rescue Tools in service to flap the roof for patient access. The extrication took less than 10 minutes after the arrival of Rescue 1 and the patient was handed over to Medic 6. LifeEvac 2 flew the patient to Fairfax Trauma Center and units returned at 07:02 hours. |
