The Falmouth Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department is dedicated to reducing the number of fire deaths and injuries to the general public by increasing public education. Fire prevention staff has developed close relationships with schools, churches, community groups and businesses in the Falmouth community to deliver classes on fire safety related topics.

Falmouth members conducted 11 fire safety classes to various age groups, attended 3 community events during the month of October; spreading our fire safety messages to over 900 people.

Stafford County Fire and Rescue Department was onsite with the "Fire Safety Trailer" at three local elementary schools and one community event. The Fire Safety Trailer provides a realistic approach to fire safety education.
