Automatic Fire Alarm=Working Fire

At 23:19 hours units from the Stafford VFD were dispatched to Children's World Learning Center at 29 Greenspring Drive for the "Automatic Fire Alarm". Wagon & Truck 2 arrived to find fire & smoke showing. At 23:26 hours the assignment was upgraded to a "Structure Fire" bringing Wagon & Rescue 1. Upon arrival Wagon 1 was assigned the R.I.T. duties and Rescue 1 handled ventilation and lighting. District 1 (Ennis) had the Command. Rescue 1 remained on the scene to assist the Fire Marshal while Wagon 1 was relocated to Fire Station 2. Units cleared at 02:01 hours. Damage was assessed at $250,000.
