While crews were cleaning up from the Scott Drive fire, Falmouth was dispatched for a townhouse fire at 525 Clint Lane in Charlestown Commons. Wagon, Engine, Rescue, Chief, and Chief 1-2 went on the air with 14 men. Chief 1 arrived first and advised he had a three story, end unit townhouse with smoke showing from side Charlie. Wagon 1 got their own water and ran the 200' attackline with Engine 1 picking up a second hydrant. Rescue 1 forced entry for the Wagon while Chief 1 took the "Clint Lane Command". Falmouth units arrived upstairs to find a deck on fire and quickly extinguished it. Rescue 1 wrangled up four dogs that escaped when the crew forced entry. The crews also encountered a very profane Blue Macaw that called them everything but a child of God. After a good laugh at the vulgar bird, Command held the units from Company 1 and returned the balance of the assignment.
