| Falmouth Fire/Rescue hosted their 12th Annual Fire Prevention Open House
This event provided the Community with an opportunity to come visit, refresh on lifesafety educational topics, and enjoy a day of events with Falmouth Fire/Rescue providers. The day's festivities included the fire safety house, moon bounce, a rope rescue & vehicle extrication demonstration, Virginia State Police demonstrations, and the opportunity to see all fire/rescue vehicles on display.
Members also conducted fire prevention activities, blood-pressure checks, provided free food to anyone who attended, and hosted a bake sale. Over 350 citizens attended this years Open House proving that the public's interaction is vital to our success, so their is an complete understanding of what their fire/rescue providers provide on a daily basis and that we are prepared to handle any of their emergencies effectively and professionally.
