At 12:21 hours Stafford E.C.C. dispatched units to a reported auto accident with entrapment in the area of 507 White Oak Road. Rescue 1 arrived on the scene to confirm a 2 vehicle accident with one overturned and a patient trapped inside. The Safety Officer arrived next and established "White Oak Road Command". Medic 11 & 7 arrived and begin patient assessments. Rescue 1 handled the extrication by using two Paratech struts with chain tips to stabilize the vehicle. Rescue 1's crew removed two doors and the B-Post on the driver's side of the vehicle. The patient was packaged and handled by Medic 7. Quint 12 assisted with the protection line from E-7 and packaging of the patient. The extrication was complete within fifteen minutes and the patient was transported to Mary Washington Hospital. Rescue returned to service at 12:49 hours.
