Engine 1 was alerted for an auto accident in the area of Warrenton Road and Washington Street. The notes on the MDT reported a T-bone collision with one still inside so Engine 1 upgraded the assignment bringing Rescue 1 and Car 1 to the scene as well. The Engine was first to arrive to find a two vehicle T-bone collision with one trapped. Rescue 1 arrived next and began stabilizing the vehicle as the engine company deployed a protection handline. Car 1 (Rice) established the "Warrenton Road Command" while Rescue 1 was in the process of completing a side removal. Quint 12 assisted with patient care and extrication was complete within 10 minutes after arrival. Company 1 unit's operated on scene for approximately 30 minutes before returning to service.
