At 00:47 hours the Box Alarm was transmitted for 1703 Warrenton Road bringing Engine, Rescue, and Chief 1 with a total of 8 Volunteers. Engine 6 arrived on the scene to find a one story single family residence with smoke showing from the Alpha Side. Engine 1 arrived on the scene shortly after taking the second due engine company responsibilities and stretched a backup line through the Alpha Side. The Rescue Company completed the secondary search which proved negative. Chief 1 arrived on the scene and took "Division One". Units found a chimney fire which had extended to the wall and attic. The Engine, Rescue, and Chief operated on scene for approximately one hour before returning to service.
