At 21:06 hours Fredericksburg E.C.C. requested Falmouth units for an accident on I-95 South at the 132.2 mile marker. The Wagon, Rescue, and Medic unit responded with 10 personnel. Initial reports were given that there were people down on the roadway that may have sustained fatal injuries. Fredericksburg Engine 2 arrived first, established "I-95 Command", and reported there were two vehicles with one sustaining severe damage. Falmouth units arrived and began tending to the injured. Two victims were transported to the local hospital and Company 1 returned to service at 21:40 hours.
